The symmetrical façade of the building was decorated with three small pediments and its window frames trimmed with ceramic bricks. In addition to the tree covered entrances, the side facing Tartu Highway also featured a mysterious passage behind a wrought-iron gate which the townspeople supposedly used to shorten their commute.
